In 2003 alone SBDCs counseled and assisted more than 687,000 U.S. based businesses. There are 57 SBDC centers with a network of more than 1,100 service locations. From 1980 through 2003 more than 9 million entrepreneurs have received valuable assistance from the SBDCs.
SBDC counselors custom tailor their services to fit the unique needs of their local economies. SDBC serve their business communities from rural to urban, from local services to international trade, from government contracting to homebased businesses and every business opportunity in between.
